Terms of sale — research use only
1. Research use only
All products sold on this site are chemical reference materials intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research and development by qualified professionals. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind, and must not be introduced into the body of any human or animal. No statement on this site has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
2. Buyer qualifications and attestation
By ordering, the buyer represents that they are at least 21 years of age, are purchasing on behalf of a legitimate research use, and possess the training and facilities to handle research chemicals safely. Each order requires an explicit attestation to these terms, which we record. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where the intended use appears inconsistent with these terms.
3. No resale for consumption
Products may not be resold, repackaged, or relabeled for human or veterinary use, or marketed in any way that suggests suitability for such use.
4. Product documentation
Certificates of analysis reflect independent testing of the specific lot identified and are provided for research documentation purposes only. Purity and identity data are not a representation of fitness for any particular application.
5. Shipping restrictions
We ship within the United States only, excluding states listed at checkout where applicable law restricts these sales. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer on delivery to the carrier.
6. Limitation of liability
The buyer assumes all responsibility for the handling, storage, and use of purchased materials. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller disclaims all warranties beyond the documented identity and purity of the lot supplied, and total liability is limited to the purchase price of the products at issue. Misuse of research materials contrary to these terms voids all warranties and is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
